New favorite store: Barnes and Nobles

By: Ashley Lee (Freshman)

I’ve always been a bookworm, and it’s not the most amazing thing to see me at the teen novel section at the Barnes and Nobles store across from the Puente Hills mall. However, one day as I was with my friends April, Ash, and Tiff we came across the most unique set of books.  Strategically placed next to each other were the two books, one titled: “What’s your poo telling you?” and the other: “What’s my pee telling me?” Both  were co-written by Josh Richman and Anish Sheth. Of course, we couldn't resist venturing just a little bit into the two books, and immediately we were introduced to a very interesting table of contents page, filled with titles like “The Sit vs. The Squat”, “Floater’s vs. Sinkers”, “Déjà Poo”, and the “Chinese Star”.

Surprisingly, this wasn’t the only interesting find of the day. We somehow stumbled upon Halloween themed books that we read as first graders, as well as a most interesting collection of Harry Potter memorabilia. Of course Barnes and Noble sells Harry Potter books, but selling Harry Potter wands? So yes, if you haven’t realized, a bookstore is indeed fun.
